I called a number of companies that offered AO Smith Proline water heaters, but none of the people I spoke with compared to Kelsey. Some wanted to come out and give me an estimate but I didn’t want to wait; I wanted hot water. With everyone I called I explained the reason for my call and was then transferred to someone else. That wasn’t the case with Kelsey and she didn’t miss a beat in answering my questions. She was more knowledgeable about water heaters than most people I spoke with yesterday. The water in Maple Grove is very hard so I wanted a warranty longer than six years and she had a solution; upgrade the Anod rods and AO Smith would extend the warranty. Kelsey also talked to me about (forgive my inept description here) the gas valve possibly not working properly, which may be the reason why my hot water is dangerously hot. She instilled confidence in me so much so that I knew I was going to place the order with Superior just because of Kelsey. She was also knowledgeable about the plumbers and had known one of them most of her life. She spoke very highly about everyone at Superior which reinforced the fact that I was choosing the right company for my water heater.
My current water heater is 50 gallons with 60,000 BTUs and since I sometimes run out of hot water on holidays, I didn’t want to drop the BTUs but didn’t really want to go to 75 gallons either. Kelsey quoted me the 50 gallon, 40,000 BTUs; 50 gallon, 50,000 BTUs; and a 75 gallon, 76,000 BTUs models. Since the 50 gallon, 50,000 BTUs unit wasn’t in stock I was going to purchase the 75 gallon, 76,000 BTU model so it could be installed asap. Full disclosure, I did purchase a AO Smith Proline water heater from another company but ONLY because their supplier had the GPVX50LN (50 gallon, 62,000 BTUs) in stock and could be installed the next day.
I needed to take a few minutes to tell you how impressed I was with Kelsey yesterday. I LOVE it when a woman is knowledgeable in areas where men typically reign! You have an outstanding advocate and representative for Superior Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical in Kelsey. As long as she’s the face of your company to callers, you are in great hands.

If we have employees, like the young man who came out, we will be in business forever. He was polite and was able to answer every question without hesitation. Dale was shocked. Also was not ripped off. He never sees any other company do this. So impressed. Send some Superior Heating cards in the mail and he will put them up at both of his shops. You and Superior Heating are the absolute best!!! Can’t thank you enough for installing my water heater today! What an amazing company you are. I thought you were life savers when you got my furnace in a couple years ago when it was about 20 degrees below zero and then you go and do it again!! If anyone asks, it will be you I recommend! Chris and Tom did a wonderful job! Getting that heavy old water heater out of the basement was not an easy job. Everything was left neat and clean and both were so nice and polite! You are truly the best. And the same goes for the installation of the air conditioner. Thanks again.
